Established in October 2007 the first large studio provision for artists in Exeter City

An exciting and affordable working environment for artists in the South West region

As an Artist Led organisation artspace members are encouraged to contribute to projects and to take part in exhibitions, open studios & events.

Exeter artspace welcomes artists working within different visual art disciplines such as sculpture, painting, ceramics, photography and installation art. Studio holders and associate members range from recent graduates, to professional arts practitioners and teachers.


Exeter Artspace aims to provide appropriate high quality workspace alongside the opportunity to become part of a supportive and encouraging community that promotes visual art.

This artist led project exists for the benefit of its members and a wider network of visual artists and audiences in Devon & the South West.
